I was born and raised in Washington, DC, and this city has been part of my story from the very beginning. My parents' story started here, too. My dad was a Metrobus driver, and he met my mom while she was riding one of his routes. It was love at first sight, and DC became the backdrop for the life and family they built together.
Growing up, my dad knew every corner of the city and loved sharing it with us. Weekend adventures meant exploring neighborhoods, wandering through Smithsonian museums, discovering quiet parks, and stumbling upon hidden gems that most visitors never find. Before I ever worked in hospitality, Washington DC became my playground, and has always been my home.
Those experiences shaped the way I see the city today. Casa Viaggio was created to help guests experience the city beyond the monuments and guidebooks.
